Russell E Luxy suffered a compound fracture of his right leg below the knee after a fall on an icy walk at his Hopkinton home near the hatchery Friday morning. He was treated at Monticello hospital, where the fracture was set and he received a cast, then returned home Tuesday after several days of confinement.
