Two drivers injured in early morning Monticello collision
A two car crash 2.5 miles west of Monticello on D-62 at 8 45 a m left two men with injuries and both vehicles totaled. Larry Bader 32 Monticello and Gary Zumbach 19 Coggan were involved. Bader charged with improper passing.

Four Monticello accidents report property damage only
Police logged four accidents in Monticello with no injuries. Anna Burkle lost control on icy West First street and caused $150 damage to signs and a sled, totaling $700 for her 1968 Chrysler. Carl Schoon and Jeanette Freese collided at E Grand and S Cedar, causing $125 and $50 respectively.
