Lydia Guyan traveled to Chicago after the death of Siegfried Gruenstein of Winnetka Illinois. The funeral was held at Winnetka Congregational church. Gruenstein founded and edited the Diapason magazine for organists and church musicians since 1909. He served at Chicago Evening Post and Chicago Daily News and led the First Presbyterian church of Lake Forest choir from 1891 to 1939. Surviving are his widow Miriam three brothers and two sisters.
