Last Thursday night Gordon Bros and H L Peck were burgled. Gordon’s was broken in with a rasp and chisel, missing hats shoes and clothes valued 60 to 75 dollars plus underwear. Peck’s window glass was removed and about 1.50 in cash plus 6 or 8 knives were taken. A tool chest was breached at Green and McDonald’s wagon shop. Clothing and goods piled by the back door at Gordons, lamp on floor. Peck’s suffered only window and money-drawer damage.
