From a Man's Notebook in The Smart Set
First Jove is the most beautiful thing in life as long as it remains first. A short life and a merry one implies a sad fate for your children. Make a living first, then love. A man who believes a woman cannot keep a secret should ask her age. To overcome evil light it, not hide from it. Those who think the world worsens are often newly wicked.
