Monticello fund redistributed for wartime workers
A $5700 War Work Fund return to Monticello is proposed to fund a local post of the American Legion with a two floor plan in the Old Fellows building. The plan would house a Legion meeting space on top and Red Cross offices plus county secretary work on the lower level. The board urges community support and Red Cross leadership to implement the move. April 19, 1920. Board of Education notes brief bills and tuition rate for out of district students.
