TB Association elects officers in Monticello meeting
The Jones county Tuberculosis and Health association held its annual spring meeting at Poplar Heights supper club in Monticello on April 2. Officers elected include Mrs Delbert Grafft president and Dr A P Randolph medical representative. Mrs Arthur Siver reported surplus in the county goal and an award will be received in Des Moines next month. The group noted the X ray program found nine emphysema cases, several chest tumors and heart defects now under early treatment control.
