The Martin McDonalds operate a 120 acre farm eight miles northwest of Monticello in Castle Grove township owned by Mrs. Catherine Adams of Cedar Rapids. Dairying is main business with about 20 Jerseys plus hogs and other stock. The McDonalds moved from Linn county seven years ago and have six children. The farm was identified by Janet Bronemann and Mrs. McDonald. An 8 by 10 photograph will be given to the McDonalds.
