Jones County Supervisors Set Road Embargo and Tax Actions
Jones county Iowa supervisors meet on February 17 1948 at Anamosa chair Henry F Adams with Bailey Blood Crain Dirks. They defer road vacation in Richland township to March 16 and approve bond for W L Pearson trustee and cancel tax sale certificate No 2432 with refund. They deny Arlo McCormick tax refund claim and pass a load embargo resolution. Subsequent session March 2 1948 approves 1946 delinquent tax settlement for Adra Lane and full settlement of Maude Lowery institutional care.
