Amber Community Presbyterian Church Reaches Golden Jubilee
The Amber church in Amber ten miles south of Monticello marks its 50th year after organizing in 1913. It seats 70 members from Monticello Anamosa and Amber and has functioned in a former Methodist building since 1912. Services run April through Christmas. January February and March are dark. Supply pastor D Randall Cone, a University of Dubuque student, has served the church for the past year.
