Four youths caught in Chrisman hold up in act
Four young men from near here tried to hold up a Chrisman Illinois druggist and were caught in the act. Forrest Lake Arthur Donovan and Brown of Hillsdale plus Raymond Milligan of near West Union led the gang. Lake was arrested after being seen with a gun. Later Milligan and Donovan were held. Brown was taken home. Lake confessed to other robberies including the Heber store and Dawson hardware.

Death of Mrs Bruce Leaves Town in Grief
Mrs William Bruce died at her home Friday evening after cancerous trouble. She was 37, twice married, and survived by her husband and seven children. Funeral was held at Kingman Christian Church Sunday afternoon with Rev McHarvey presiding. Burial followed at Zackmeier Cemetery. O L Brown and son were the undertakers.
