Montezuma High School beat W Terre Haute 22 to 34 on their home floor. The local team showed strong defense and backcourt work while noting limited practice. Hillsdale High School visits next Friday with Montezuma Freshmen facing Mecca Freshmen.
Grover and Montezuma's town watch commends Mr Rohr for strict policing. He reports three strangers seen near town. one colored man detained and jailed. He warns drunks and fast drivers to stay clear or face arrest.
The Home Theatre presents The Oath a R A Walsh production starring Miriam Cooper Conway Tearle and Anna Q Nilsson. First National lists The Oath among its five major pictures for the year.
Paul Manford McCarty died at age six after a brief illness. Born July 13 1915 he was the son of Charles and Pearl McCarty and brother to Dan Louise Ellen and Hatel. Funeral held at home with Rev J C Whitson and burial in Oakland Cemetery.
A family recalls a bright blue-eyed baby boy named Paul who brought joy to their home. They express sorrow at his early passing, describing him as cheerful and sunbeam like and say he is now safe in the arms of Jesus. The verse ends with trust that God knows best and Paul remains a heavenly tie.

An official program from Memorial Presbyterian Church on Saturday November 5 1921 at 2 PM features organ numbers by Miss Mary Bilett Rockville and talks on History Parke County Before 1821 and Since 1821 by Mrs Charles W Lindley and Mrs John W Russell. Introductory remarks by Roy Baker with receptions to pioneers of Parke County. Attendees include Dr Hudson 90 Montezuma James H Baker 91 Rockville and Mrs John T Brown 88 Florida Township plus Civil War and veterans and Parke County Historical Society marks fifth year as a charter member of the State organization. President Mrs Rufus Dooley Secretary Charles E Lambert.

The Pythian Sisters Knights and guests held a masked ball in Montgomery Hall. About nine o clock pumpkin pie sandwiches and coffee were served. The hall was decorated with fodder pumpkins and autumn leaves. Everyone enjoyed the evening and departed late, thanking the Knights and Ladies.

Mr and Mrs Frank Jones attended an all day Baptist church meeting in Wallace where Rev Airhart preached and a baptizing occurred after a big dinner.
