A Coloma ice cream supper drew a large crowd at the school house. Locals and visitors shared meals and hosted guests including the Woodards, Wrights, and Dooleys at various home gatherings. Earl Pearman and wife moved into the L. O. Ingram house. Wayne Jones aided harvest at Clair’s. Mrs. Casebeer returned from the hospital. Mrs. Lydia McLaughlin of Clinton staying with Casebeer. Eugene Stewart fell from a tree and fractured his arm and is recovering. Alice Lake visited sister Lizzie York in Clinton. Jack Hilton and Clyde Russell returned from overseas. Phil McCarty and wife of Clinton visited Mr. King’s family. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Aikman went to Indianapolis. Mrs. Bessie Wellen and mother Josie Ingram visited Paris Illinois. Orpha McCarty of Danville visiting sister. Mrs. Bruce Wiltermood and Mrs. Adams near Hillsdale called at Enterprise Office. Wiltermood says two sons returned from service and two younger sons left for training. grandson departed for Columbus Ohio for training.
