Obituary of John W Newton of Quadring Fen Lincolnshire
John W Newton born March 28 1864 in Quadring Fen England died August 12 1919 at age 55 years 4 months 14 days. He came to America at 17 with brother Joseph and joined the Methodist church at Linebarger Chapel. He married Nannie Barton December 2 1885 and had four children Ethel May Henry Luther Myrtle Francis who died at age two and Fred Wesley. Survived by wife three children one grandson and siblings Fred and Mary in England. His death shocked the community as health declined recently and he planned to visit his daughter Mrs Frank Bowman in Montezuma.
