Primary pupil returns to Rockford school amid week incidents
Herbert Wheeler reentered the 4th grade after several weeks at Rockford Hl. Mr Jolliet the county superintendent visited the building. Chadwick Kelso attended the first grade. Grace Thomas suffered a head cut when a fire escape door handle struck her but required no doctor. Ruth Fiske returned after a two week absence. Esther Ryland was out with mumps last week.

Eighth Year Domestic Science Class Hosts Self Help Lunch
The 8th year Domestic Science class cooked and served a Friday noon lunch on April 2 using leftovers. Menu included hash on toast fried potatoes cottage cheese bread butter and rice muffins. One girl ate more than her share and fell ill though the overall response was positive.

Easter Exercises at Christian Church
A short Easter program was presented Sunday morning after Sabbath School. The choir performed several selections. Faye Machin played a viola solo. Conrad and Hester Hann sang Fickle Little Butterfly. Mary Elizabeth Higbee sang Watch Thee and Pray Thee with Eugene Higbee on violin and Goldie Pickel at the piano. Congregation joined in Sweet Hour of Prayer. Communion followed and benediction ended the service. Attendance was fair due to bad weather.
