Death of Wm Considine after long illness
Wm Considine died Tuesday afternoon at his home on the east side of the square after several days of decline. He suffered cancer and had been unable to eat except milk for weeks. Born in Canada, 43 years old, he came to Monroe about thirteen years ago to supervise the water works plant for the Wheeler Construction Company. He leaves a wife married in 1875 and five children, all present at his death. He was a Mason, a Knight of Pythias, and a Modern Woodman with many friends in Monroe.
