Freeport Man 87 Killed in Head-On Two-Vehicle Crash
An 87-year-old Freeport man Leonard L. Otto died at the scene when a van carrying him and Esther A. Otto was struck head-on by Regina A. Rodgers 23, who crossed the center line on Baileyville Road south of Lamm Road. Esther Otto was flown to St Anthony Medical Center while Leonard Otto died. Rodgers was hospitalized after the impact. Investigation continues.
