Wisconsin abortion law admitting privileges blocked again
U S District Judge William Conley extended his hold on the admitting privileges requirement for four more months. Planned Parenthood and Affiliated Medical Services filed suit in July arguing the rule would force closures of a Milwaukee AMS clinic and an Appleton Planned Parenthood without admitting privileges. The injunction keeps the clinics operating until a final ruling after the trial set for November 25.

Jury finds Brodhead man guilty of child sex assault
A Monroe jury found 33 year old Norberto Santiago Castellanos guilty on two counts of repeated sexual assault involving two sisters ages 6 and 8. The verdict followed a three day Green County Circuit Court trial despite the girls recanting testimony and limited physical evidence.
