Leviathan Launch Reaches Final Tow to River Berths

After a long protracted launch, the Leviathan finally moved from the yard and floated toward its Thames berth. Wind and tide challenges forced delays, but early morning calm allowed pumps and hydraulics to finish ballast removal as tugs and escorts helped guide the vessel downstream amid splintered cradle remains and a cautious police watch. The event concludes with cheers as the leviathan commences its first voyage toward the river’s center.
