Clarksville Arkansas September 28 The Board of Trustees votes to accept cotton for tuition at 16 cents per pound to safeguard educational facilities amid shifts in the cotton market and protect patronage of the college.
The American Tobacco Company to purchase cotton at 10 cents per pound from customers in nine Southern states. The offer runs Sept 29 to Nov 30 1914 and ties purchase to tobacco shipments of Red J and Penn's Natural Leaf Bull Durham Tuxedo Sovereign products. Percival S.
