Cool Front Moves Through Monroe Louisiana Forecast
A cold front passed Monroe bringing light showers and the weather bureau warned of unseasonably cold air moving into Louisiana through Thursday. By 11 a.m. cloudy cool conditions with showers covered the northern state while the south stayed partly cloudy and warm. Edith Tropical Storm Weakens Slightly in Atlantic
Tropical storm Edith remained stationary in the eastern Atlantic and showed slight weakening. The National Hurricane Center reported winds near 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph and gale force winds extending about 100 miles from the center, located about 2,000 miles southeast of Miami and 550 miles east of Barbados.
