Fire Destroys Ice Plant on DeSiard Street
Fire of undetermined origin Thursday morning damaged the American Service Company ice plant at 1601-07 DeSiard street. Central station crews with six trucks fought the blaze starting at 4 17 o clock and reported the storage area on the west side largely intact. The cause and full extent remained unknown as the fire appeared confined to a sawdust insulated area.
