Chamber Backs Tupawek Lake Plan Near West Monroe

West Monroe Chamber of Commerce endorses converting the Tupawek drainage canal into a suburban lake by building a spillway near the bayou mouth. Family Feud Blamed In Fatal Mississippi Shooting

In Enon on a farm 18 miles east of McComb a family feud left one man dead and three wounded. Kary Cothern, 21, of New Orleans, was killed by a shotgun blast. Window Washer Scared To Death In Manhattan Fall

John Hirowski a 63 year old window washer died after his safety belt broke leaving him dangling from a sixth floor window on West 54th Street Manhattan.
