Westbrook Pegler denounces the Big Republicans as conceited, morally lacking figures who seek to control the party by funding campaigns. He warns that a Truman third term would remove restraints, unleashing a brutal, vulgar leadership influenced by Marxian manipulators in New York.
State police arrested Thomas C Tharpe and Dennis Byrd after two separate crashes over the weekend. Tharpe, 41, from Tyler Texas, collided with a line of vehicles west of West Monroe on VA 5 etry 80. Byrd, 24, of Tylertown Mississippi, rolled his car four miles south of Monroe on Louisiana 15 after failing to negotiate a curve. Both men were jailed in the Ouachita parish jail.
The text states it is unlawful to stop a vehicle longer than necessary to pick up or drop off a passenger on the same street side within twenty five feet of an entrance to a hotel or theatre, where limits are marked by signs or painted lines, Ordinance 2788, Section.
Sen Mundt said Boyle will be called by a senate investigation into his ties with the RFC but the hearing time is not set. Lucille May Grace denies reports of a coalition ticket with State Sen. Dudley LeBlanc and Lt. Gov. William Dodd. LeBlanc had hinted at a noon announcement in New Orleans but said no decision would be announced until later in the afternoon.
