Atlantic City Sept 17 UPI The American Bar Association voted to repeal the Prohibition Amendment with 13 779 in favor and 6 340 opposed in last year’s referendum total of 20 119 members 75 percent. No convention action scheduled on prohibition. President Boston noted a Washington recommendation to build distilleries could have spared the nation the present ban.

Two Men Die in St Louis Rooming House Fire
In St Louis a fire in a rooming house killed two men and severely burned five others including three women and two men. Grand jury to act on over eighty Ouachita cases
