Reports indicate Mexican rebels plan action near Agua Prieta prompting the War Department to be notified of intentions. Officials monitor the border situation as tensions rise between factions and federal authorities.
Rebels under Rojas threaten Agua Prieta opposite Douglas as Mexican Federals, 400 Yaqui, moved from El Paso toward Sonora. Federals battled Rebels at Cuchillo, driving them across the Concho on rafts. about 1000 Rebels reportedly led by Gen. Orozco suffered losses.
El Paso report states the first train of Mexican federal reinforcements departed El Paso last night and arrived at Agua Prieta this morning confirming the border mobilization beginning during the latest conflict period.
