John Bennett Roberta 11, son of Mr and Mrs J R Roberta of Capeville, died at a local hospital from an fiboose later diagnosed as hydrophobia by Dr Lewis Tyler. The child was bitten over two months ago by his pet dog which died. No exam was made of the animal. The boy’s younger brother J Bart Roberta and several neighbors were bitten, and many in the area are receiving Pasteur treatment.
