Heart for military merit and wounds were awarded to the veteran for action in Aisne-Marne Oise Aisne and Meuse Argonne. University of Mississippi appoints Dan Wood of Marianna Ark captain for fall football season. Frank Thorsey of Bridgeport Conn chosen as alternate captain. He died Friday night while visiting his son James, Nassau electrical contractor. He is survived by Major Samuel Neill and Lieutenant Sidney Neill of the U S Army.
