Robert Goza Dies After Long Illness Rites Set
Robert Hugh Goza, 56, died early Wednesday after a long illness. He lived at 316 North Fourth Street in Monroe and will be laid to rest Thursday at 3 p.m. in Memorial Park cemetery, with Rev. J. T. Horton officiating. A member of First Baptist Church, he was born February 10, 1896 in Barlow, Mississippi and lived in Monroe 30 years. He previously worked for Monroe Wholesale Grocer Co and later ran the R and K Cafe. He is survived by his wife, four daughters, three sisters, two brothers and eight grandchildren.
