A Louisiana statewide cotton reduction and co operative marketing plan was formed at Shreveport after a Memphis conference. Officials outlined a 25 percent acreage cut in 1927 and creation of pools to withdraw 4 000 000 bales. Parish committees will meet to perfect local organizations and collect pledges.
