The mutilated body of Lily Croy a 26 year old teacher and Toledo University night student was found under Washington school steps in Toledo. Coroner Henzler said she had been sexually assaulted and her head had two deep gashes. Police noted similarities to a string of clubber murders from the previous year but said this slaying involved assault. Croy had planned missionary work but her father's death forced a change.
