Mansfield La October 26 John T Michel governor candidate spoke to about 500 at the De Soto Parish Fair with only J B Lee as other speaker. The crowd cheered Michel and accompanied by a band of sixty supporters. He defended past service and urged parish voters to back him citing fifteen years as secretary of state.
