Baton Rouge October 24 Judge H F Brunot dismissed John S Sutton of Monroe petition seeking an injunction against the general probe commission restraining its investigation of the Tensas Levee Board land deal. The judge sustained the defendants exceptions.

Sheriff Parker sent Oscar Hampton to Shreveport for safekeeping amid fears of violence. A separate note reports Ros Dickerson found dead by natural causes in North Grand street area. coroner Gray confirmed death and Peters undertaking parlor to handle the body. He was about sixty.
