Ouachita Polio Chapter Receives $8500 From March of Dimes
Ouachita Parish chapter of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis received a check for 8500 from March of Dimes headquarters in New York. Treasurer R. Q. Cole said the funds cover care for polio patients at home and in local hospitals and relieve immediate bills. The aid follows replenished headquarters funds after an August emergency drive and supports eight current patients plus two from prior years.
