General George Catlett Marshall was buried at Arlington Cemetery after a private family graveside ceremony attended by about 200 mourners including Presidents Eisenhower and Truman. The ceremony followed a state service at Bethlehem Chapel and Ft Myer, ending with a 19 gun salute and taps.
