West Monroe Man Killed In Highway 39 Crash
A West Monroe resident died early today when his truck struck a cow on U S Highway 39 about 9.6 miles south of Marshall in Harrison County. Paul J. Stapleton was killed instantly when the vehicle rolled over a guard rail and landed upside down 18 feet below the road. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Kilpatrick's Funeral Home West Monroe with burial at Hasley Cemetery. Survivors include his widow Edna, his parents, two brothers and several sisters.
