Seven Die As United Airlines Plane Crashes In Indiana
Seven people perished when a United Airlines twin motor transport crashed near Chesterton Indiana shortly after 9 PM witnesses reported a massive explosion. The doomed airliner had earlier radioed all was well and had passed over Toledo en route to Cleveland. E D Dodson and sister Frances Dodson of Sunflower county were acquitted of murder in the July slaying of Wheeler Brown Merigold druggist.
