Market and breeding sheep were judged at the Ark La Miss Agricultural and Industrial Free Fair Junior Livestock Show held Wednesday at the Monroe Civic Center.

The second presidential debate intensified foreign and defense policy clashes between President Ford and Senator Carter. Ford announced potential U S Soviet nuclear limits talks and disclosure of firms involved in the Arab boycott while rejecting Soviet domination of Eastern Europe. Carter pressed for a firm approach to global strength and moral objectives.
An AP telephone poll of 1,071 voters conducted after the Radnor debate shows 33.2 percent choosing Carter and 34.6 percent choosing Ford as winner. Neither candidate had a clear victory with 27.2 percent undecided.
