Five Incendiaries Extinguished by Monroe Fire Dept

Blue Shield's Case Heard In Louisiana Insurance Action
Baton Rouge October 5. Secretary of State Wade O. Martin Jr took under advisement charges that Blue Shield operators violated Louisiana insurance code. A show cause order seeks suspension or revocation of Louisiana Physicians Service Incorporated license. Allegations include offering donations to Shreveport civic clubs for enrollment help and omitting corporate name in ads. Frank Lais says the offer came from a new district manager and was unauthorized. Martin has 30 days to rule.
