Abed Pardue hosted a Friday night gathering for Miss Felizabeths Cabiness to celebrate her upcoming marriage to Ardis Colbert of Jennings Louisiana. Guests enjoyed recipe writing for the scrapbook, dances by Mrs W C Lee’s daughters Eloise and Lillian Affen Lee, and songs by the hostess’s four daughters. Roses set the color scheme in yellow and green with pink arrangements in hall and dining room. Mrs Farque and Mrs W O C Lee served salad. Cabiness wore a pink freormette. Cabiness will leave Sunday for Barad Louisiana. wedding date to be announced.
Trenton Baptist Church invites the public to Sunday school each Sunday at 10 a.m. Prayer meeting occurs every Friday night. Preaching takes place on the second and fourth Sundays in both morning and evening services. SEE COLVIN, Pastor.

The Sunday School Workers Council of Drew held a Wednesday meeting with Mr. Lineback presiding. Mrs. Low Moore and Merc Monroe Pervis were elected superintendents of the Cradle Roll and Home Departments, with plans to enroll babies and parents within a fortnight. Mr. W. A. Wiggins was chosen superintendent of the entire Sunday school.
Wallace Clift serves as minister at morning worship at 11 o clock. Sunday school opens at 9 46 with A J Smith as superintendent and Mark W Stroud as assistant.
