CAPE KENNEDY Florida The space agency said an electrical problem with a spacecraft power unit is not expected to delay Saturdays Gemini 7 launch. Astronauts Frank Borman and James Lovell Jr. will undertake a 14 day endurance mission while Walter Schirra Jr. and Thomas Stafford plan a rendezvous nine days later. A stray voltage spike during rehearsal traced to the power unit caused the test with a secondary guidance system. The original unit, tested more thoroughly, was restored and officials expect no delay.

Tallulah Officer Killed In Auto Crash
Tallulah sergeant Jim Dale Osborne, 27, of the police department, died instantly in a one car crash on U S Highway 80 west of Tallulah about 1 am. His vehicle left the road, struck a ditch, and smashed into a culvert five miles west of town. He was en route to visit his mother Mrs Ida Osborne in Waverly. He served about six years with the department. Funeral arrangements are under Cap Young Funeral Home.
