Yesterday afternoon at 5 o clock at 200 Ouachita Ave in Monroe Miss Alice Hawthorne and Chas Bertrand Braun were married. Rev. A R Price officiated behind a smilax adorned altar as Miss Shelby Gibbs played and Mrs Phil Chauvin sang Because. The bride wore Alice blue georgette with black satin slippers and carried pink carnations. attired in Alice blue georgette, her sister Mrs Buchanan stood as attendant. After congratulating the couple they planned a Missouri Pacific trip to New Orleans and will reside at 260 Ouachita Ave with Mr and Mrs H W Apgar.

Training School Boys Entertained At Presbyterian Club
Circle No. 1 of the Presbyterian church hosted Training School boys for an evening of songs and group singing led by Rev. Clift. Miss Elizabeth Hammock told the First Thanksgiving story and a blindfold turkey pin game awarded four prizes. Refreshments featured traditional Thanksgiving treats and the event was praised as a success despite bad weather.
