New Orleans Nov 28 Frisco system chairman B F Yoakum urged banking and currency reform to aid agriculture. He warned farmers must push for equalized rates and terms, cautioned against high carrying costs in public warehouses, and emphasized need for warehouse receipts and better facilities.
A brief weather note reports fair skies with colder temperatures tonight and continued cold conditions on Wednesday. A light freeze is possible tonight and frost may develop in exposed areas.

New Orleans November 27. In line with Louisiana Antisaloon League resolutions W O Hart requested Governor J Y Sanders name delegates to the December 12 national conference in Washington. Appointees include J T Watkins W H Managan H L Baker T C McKowen Fritz Salmon B F Thompson A P Holt J W Parsons F X Ransdell and Don Caffery. The gathering will discuss state police powers over liquor traffic and urge Congress to counter the Supreme Court ruling narrowing state control. Governors from many states sign the call alongside public figures and clergy.
Charles W. Morse, the New York banker, moved from a Federal Prison bare cell to a larger ward at Fort McPherson Army Hospital by order of Attorney General Wickersham after a city visit to Atlanta. Morse underwent an ambulance transfer with Major Beker, with kidney trouble cited and a reported risk to life if confinement continued.
Lafayette La Nov 28 Clemen tine Barnabet held in the murder of six Randall family members will likely be taken to New Orleans tonight for the third degree examination by the detective bureau. In Los Angeles S L Brown arrested Bert Franklin a former U S marshal for allegedly trying to pass four thousand dollars to prospective juror G N Lockwood in the McNamara case. Lockwood and a man named Cap White were also taken into custody. Franklin was employed by the McNamara defense at the time.

New Orleans reports temperatures from 24 to 28 degrees for the sugar and trucking region of Texas and Louisiana tonight. Freezing temperatures spread south to near the Texas coast. Snow observed as far south as northern Arkansas.
