Burglary Reports Hit West Monroe Stores and Depot

One Killed Two Shot In Bonita
In Bastrop Louisiana two 65 year old Bonita marshals were shot during a dispute over a parking ticket with Billy Quinn 25 who was fatally wounded Saturday. Quinn grabbed the marshal’s gun and fired twice wounding both officers. a bystander was lightly wounded. Quinn worked for International Paper in Bastrop and was a Spring Hill native. He served as a Marine Corps corpsman in World War II and played football at Tulane.
