Russian forces press into Manchuria as 10 thousand troops advance toward Hailar. A Navy pilot is reported crashing during the confrontations as Soviet units push to evacuate tail of the line amid looming rail seizures by invading forces.
The state department investigates Chinese Russian tensions in Manchuria seeking peace avenues. Nippon Dempo says Soviet troops occupy districts and fortresses in Manchuria advance toward Ammulin and Mishan Hsien while Chinese forces form mountain defenses near the eastern border.
Thousands of Soviet cavalry, supported by artillery, moved forward in Manchuria as forces continued to press the front. Reports indicate large formations advancing amid heavy enemy resistance and ongoing combat operations.

Senator Francia E. Warren of Wyoming died at 85 after pneumonia and bronchitis. A veteran of the west and the longest serving senator, he passed with his wife, son Fred, and son in law General John J. Pershing at his bedside. The senate will honor him with state funeral rites.
In Montgomery Alabama on November 25 Mrs Bertha Ellison and her alleged lover Andrew Garner were in jail after the coroner said she confessed witnessing Garner drown their eight months old daughter Eleanor May.
In Mountain View Arkansas 20 year old Connie Franklin was killed and burned while his 17 year old companion Tillie Rumier was assaulted. Five men are jailed as prosecutors prepare to seek the death penalty at the December 16 trial. Police say eight bones found at the scene are key evidence.
Farm leaders announced support for President Hoover in efforts to stabilize business following a two hour conference with Secretary Hyde. They were later called to meet with the President to discuss further aid and purchases of farm implements and home supplies.

John L. McLendon, 66, veteran southern news writer, was found dead in his room at the Hotel Alvis in Monroe. Coroner P Gray said death was due to natural causes after the writer arrived from Shreveport two weeks earlier to work on the News-Star Progress edition.
Jonesboro Arkansas reports a major traffic law enforcement drive arrests fifty motorists Saturday night by six state highway police officers with local support. Ten violators were to appear in municipal court today for violations including driving with one light and using foreign licenses as officers plan to stay through the week.
