Washington ap The Committee for Economic Development a private research group of business leaders urges a five year extension of the reciprocal trade program and gradual selective tariff reductions. The group largely supports Eisenhowers tariff policy but pushes farther in some aspects.
President Eisenhower warned that the United States should not lose sight of Russia's quest for world domination. He said Soviet talks of peaceful coexistence may not reflect a real change in attitude and noted Moscow has recently used a less belligerent tone despite his reading of Communist history.

Lake Providence Louisiana November 23 Special. A five state alarm went out for two men and two women who robbed a Lake Providence man at gunpoint and beat him. The victim George Gardner a local plumber and electrician was severely beaten and is in a clinic. The robbers fled in a 1950 Ford sedan with Texas plates. The suspects are two men 22 years old and two girls aged 16 and 18.
New York report says the drive to collect 10 million signatures against the motion to censure Senator Joseph R. McCarthy has been extended by five days. Officials had predicted the goal would be reached easily by Wednesday.
