Funeral held in Shreveport for publisher
Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. for William H. Bronson a prominent newspaper television and radio executive who died Saturday of an apparent heart attack in Shreveport. The Rev. Kenneth Paul would officiate at Holy Cross Episcopal Church with burial in Forest Park Cemetery. Bronson 60 was president publisher and editor of The Shreveport Times and held top posts at Monroe News Star Monroe Morning World KWKH Shreveport and KTHV Little Rock. He lived in Shreveport since 1938. Survivors include his widow Lillian Francez two children six grandchildren two sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers listed include Kenneth C. Barranger Robert E. Brown and others.
