Mrs. Ollie Patton age 48 from Bosco killed herself with a .22 rifle at her daughter’s home near Bosco after her husband’s suicide five years earlier. Survived by five daughters and two sons. Funeral services conducted at Bosco Baptist Church with interment at Bosco Cemetery.
Four year old Stephen Andrews was found at dawn with two puppies and cold after an overnight search by a 250-man posse in Hermanville Maryland. He had been missing since Monday afternoon two miles from home and told rescuers I’m lost I want my mamma. Physicians reported no ill effects from the ordeal.

In New Orleans on November 18 the Davis murder trial began jury selection for Robert Davis 29 of Texas charged with killing Mississippi state trooper Cyril Reichert 45. Reichert was fatally shot near highway 90 last January as he questioned Davis. McSorley 21 from Detroit was wounded. he testified as Davis faced jurors.
