The man killed by a railroad near Mason Mississippi Tuesday night is identified as C. L. Thomas of Richland. Inspector Heap reports a daughter lives near Rayville. Initially thought to be A A Best or Oliver Byers of Ouachita parish due to letters found in a pocket. those men have now been located. Thomas had visited Monroe recently and carried two envelopes with their names.
