Fire in Owensboro Kentucky destroys a Davies County Distilling Company bonded warehouse, releasing twelve thousand barrels of whisky into the river. The blaze covers the Ohio with a sheet of fire as $400,000 in property is lost, partly insured, and witnesses observe the flames. The distillery is owned by Medley Brothers of Owensboro.
A cyclone struck Cordele Georgia this morning causing two men to be seriously injured and demolishing the Parker Wills Company wholesale establishment. The event occurred in Cordele on November 18.
